LTV HOLDS 10TH ANNUAL BOOK FAIR

Lagos Television will hold the 2017 edition of its annual Book Fair between August 28th and September 3rd, 2017 at De Blue Roof, Agidingbi, Ikeja Lagos.

 

According to the statement issued today by the Chairman, LTV Special Events Committee, Ms. Siju Alabi, the yearly event helps to encourage the reading culture and promote book trade with different exhibitors selling books with topics in various fields and disciplines.

 

It stated further that LTV has sustained the initiative over the years because of its belief that books are an integral part of learning and play a major role in knowledge acquisition and transmission. 

 

The statement noted that this year’s book fair, is the 10th in the series and tagged “The Internet: What Influence On The Youth”, adding that the event is not limited to book sales alone but also features back to school items such as bags, school shoes/ sandals as well as opening of students’ bank accounts.

 

It, therefore, called on the members of the public to participate fully in the week long event and buy back-to-school items at discounted prices, adding that renowned speakers and educationists will also grace the occasion.
