LASRRA PARTNERS INEC TO REGISTER RESIDENTS

Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) has collaborated with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register Lagosians as part of its ongoing sensitization/advocacy programme to capture residents in Badagry and its environs.

Speaking at the sensitization/advocacy programme, the General Manager, Mrs. Olukemi Adelusi stated that the collaboration is to ensure that residents in Badagry are fully registered with the Agency, as such LASRRA team is taking its campaign to all wards and communities in Badagry to register residents.

While noting that the team is presently at Ajara Grammar School registering members of the community, she added that the registration centre would move to another ward soon.

Mrs. Adelusi, however, advised Residents that have registered to pick their permanent cards at their Local Government and Local Council Development areas of registration as many cards are ready for pick-up.

The General Manager reiterated the determination of the Agency to create a reliable database of all Residents in Lagos State and provide Government information that will accelerate development of infrastructure for residents across Lagos State.

She reemphasized that registration is still ongoing at all Local Government councils, Local Council Development Areas and LASRRA Head office at No 4, Registration Close, off Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
