NEW EMPLOYEES DEPLOYED TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
About 1,500 officers recruited into the Unified Local Government Service of Lagos State have received deployment Letters to different Local Government and Local Council Development Areas.
Addressing the newly recruited officers, the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Establishments, Training & Pensions Office, Mr. Oluwatoyin Onisarotu reiterated Government’s commitment to reducing unemployment figures in the State through the provision of numerous employment opportunities to residents.
He urged the employees to show gratitude through hard work, dedication and commitment to the development of their Local Government / Local Council Development Area of posting.
“The Governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration expects you to be pro-active, initiate ideas and develop new innovation that will contribute to the overall development of the State”, he said.
He reminded the employees that the vision of Lagos State becoming Africa’s model megacity should be seen as achievable through their cooperation and contribution, both individually and collectively.
