LASPARK HOLDS SPECIAL EDITION OF ‘FAIR IN THE PARK’
The Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency, LASPARK has commenced a five-day special edition of its informative, entertainment and fun-packed festive period celebration for children and all fun lovers scheduled to end on August 26, 2018.
The celebration tagged “Fair in the Park” holds at Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Alausa, Ikeja, starting from 8a.m daily and will feature an exhibition of goods by owners of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in areas of Nigerian fabrics, farm produce, home appliances, phone accessories, among other beautiful locally made items.
Speaking about the event, the General Manager of LASPARK, Mrs. Balikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, said that plans have been concluded to thrill all visitors to the park with the best form of entertainment and relaxation throughout the five-day event.
She explained that the idea of the ‘Fair in the Park’ was conceptualised to promote the activities of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, sales of locally made goods and also to encourage the culture of relaxation in a serene environment.
Adebiyi-Abiola called on parents, guardians and schools owners to explore the opportunity of the Fair alongside their children and loved ones.
She further disclosed that the event has been specifically designed to captivate the interest of children as there would be special packages for them with a lot of gifts and play items.
“There would also be a display of Fashion, organic supplements, juices confectionaries, calorie-measured soups, cooking demos and many more within the park including the products of some of the event partners” she stated.
