LAGOS TOWN PLANNERS URGED TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS

Town Planners in the employment of the Lagos State Government have been urged to be good ambassadors by being courteous and humane in their interaction with members of the public.

The General Manager of Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), Tpl. Funmi Osifuye gave this advice today in Ikeja during an Induction/Training Programme for newly deployed Town Planning/Technical Officers to the Authority.

He said the training programme was organised as part of the State Government’s commitment to exposing new officers to modern techniques in handling government business for effective service delivery to the public and in compliance with Ease of Doing Business in the State.Responding on behalf of the participants, Tpl. Oni Ayoola commended the Authority for the Training Programme, saying it was a good initiative that would adequately prepare them for the enormous task ahead.

Not less than 40 town planners recently deployed from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies participated in the programme.
