ALIMOSHO GH RECEIVES NEW NEBULIZER, CONSUMABLES
The Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, has become a beneficiary of new nebulizer and neonatal consumables donated by members of ‘Extraordinary Mums and Single Ladies’ Chapter of Egbeda-Ojo zone.
The Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, made the noble gesture towards in-patients of the Facility as part of activities marking its anniversary.
Receiving the items, Dr. Madewa Adebajo, the Medical Director of the Hospital expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that the donation was timely, as the facility was about to initiate the process of getting extra nebulizers to alleviate pains of asthmatic patients in the facility.
He said, “It is a laudable feat having this team in the facility, extending the hands of altruism towards newborns and indigents. More so, the nebulizer being donated comes in handy, as moves were set on getting more to augment usage in the hospital. God bless these mothers for their kind gesture”.
In her remarks, the Coordinator of the group, Ms. Tina Umeh stated that this is first donation of the Organisation aimed at assiting the sick, babies and their mothers, since the establishment of the organisation in 2017.
She added that the items are meant as a starter for the next scheme being planned by the group, as the group intends to build an edifice for maternal / child use in the near future.
