YABA SOLE ADMINISTRATOR GIVES OUT FREE JAMB FORMS
In line with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s policy to empower youths across the State, the Sole Administrator of Yaba Local Council Development Area, Hon. Adebayo Adefuye has registered 50 youths for the forthcoming Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination in the LCDA.
The forms were presented to the youngsters during a career talk attended by a group of youths to encourage them participate in the forthcoming examinations.
Adefuye charged the youths not to misuse the opportunity, adding that they should see it as a great privilege to further their education as many have been restrained due to lack of funds.
He emphasised it is important they do well in their exams as part of efforts to ensure a bright future, imploring them to desist from all forms of exam malpractices during the JAMB exercise.
The Sole Administrator also commended government for initiating the policy of inclusiveness for all residents in the State, including the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow, adding that such policies create avenues to further reduce youths’ restlessness as they would concentrate on their education and will not be constrained due to lack of funds.
“The carefully selected youths presented with the JAMB forms were bright minds and well deserving of the opportunity as it would have been a waste if their education had been cut short abruptly due to lack of funds”, the Sole Administrator reiterated.
In their remarks, the parents and lucky students thanked the Sole Administrator for his gesture and wished him continuous success in his administration and future endeavours.
