AMBODE REITERATES COMMITMENT TO BUILD CINEMA IN BADAGRY
The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has reiterated his commitment to construct a state of the art Cinema in Badagry in the next 18 months to boost the tourism potentials of the Division as well as ensure the rapid socio-economic development of the area.
The Governor, who reiterated this during his visit to Badagry Stadium on Wednesday, one of the designated venues of the ongoing “One Lagos Fiesta”, OLF, said the construction of the Cinema would create employment opportunities for the youths in Badagry and environs.
He also emphasised on the need for youths to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the present administration in the education sector, stressing that a good education is what every individual needs to excel in his/her future chosen career.
According to him, “As much as OLF has created an avenue for the people to celebrate, they should not forget the importance of education; and they should avail themselves of the educational opportunities created by the State Government”.
Meanwhile, top musicians in the country like ARA, Lefty and Atatwewe have commended Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for the decentralization of OLF to all divisions of the State, saying that it will enhance the development of the entertainment and tourist sector in Lagos.
