LAGOS POSTPONES CEREMONY FOR NEW SCHOOL BUILDING

 

The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the foundation laying ceremony of new model school buildings at Angus Memorial High School, Somolu and Awori College, Ojo previously scheduled to hold on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

Speaking on the postponement in his Office today, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr. Adesina Odeyemi said the shift in date was necessitated by the desire of the Governor to conduct the exercise in person because of the importance he attached to re-inventing and re-positioning the education sector in the State.

He apologized for the inconvenience the shift might have caused all invited stakeholders and invited guests, especially the reverred Obas, Chiefs, Politicians, Community and Market leaders.

Odeyemi however promised that a new date for the event will soon be communicated to all stakeholders and the public at large.
