LAGOS CONDUCTS SCREENING TEST FOR STUDENTS

Two thousand students seeking transfer into public schools in Lagos State recently wrote screening tests for the 2017/2018   academic session admissions into JSS II & SS 1.

The first-of-its-kind written examination is aimed at testing the applicants’ academic capabilities for admission into the respective classes of choice in State public schools.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr. Adesina Odeyemi who led a monitoring team to assess the conduct of the test which took place simultaneously in all the Six Education Districts of the State, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.

While assuring the candidates that results of the exercise would be ready next week, he said parents of the successful applicants will be notified through short message (SMS) to the phone number supplied by them.
