AUDIT SERVICE COMMISSION CONVENES STAFF RETREAT
In a bid to enhance the performance of auditors within the State public service, the Lagos State Audit Service Commission has scheduled its 3rd Annual Staff Retreat with the theme “Managing the Expectations and Needs of Public Service Auditors in the Current Dispensation” to commence from February 8 at Golf View Hotel, GRA, Ikeja.
A statement from the office of the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Waliu Onibon said the Retreat is in tandem with the Vision of the Audit Service Commission to elevate the performance of its personnel to international standards, thereby enhancing staff commitment to service excellence.
Onibon asserted that the Lagos State Audit Service Commission is building a more disciplined and highly motivated workforce that is passionate about professionalism and the safety of Public Funds.
He urged State Auditors to adhere strictly to the ethics of the profession and assured that the State Government will continue to train and re-train members of Staff for optimal performance.
In the same vein, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Adebimpe Dada has implored members of staff to remain hardworking, diligent and prayerful, urging them to be health conscious.
She admonished staff to undergo regular medical checks as sound health is requisite for productivity and efficiency at work.
