LASRRA SET TO EMBARK ON PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT CAMPAIGN

As part of efforts to upgrade and rebrand the activities of the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) for effective and efficient service delivery and also to increase the numbers of registered residents in the State, the Agency is to embark on public enlightenment and sensitization campaign at the grassroots from March 2018.

The General Manager of Lagos State Residents Registration Agency, Mrs. Kemi Adelusi, disclosed this when she led a delegation to the Royal Palace of two prominent traditional rulers in Epe Division of the State – HRM Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, the Oloja of Epe and HRM Oba Shefiu Olatunji Adewale, the Olu of Epe Kingdom.

She revealed that the number of residents registered in Epe division was low and as such, there is need to further encourage them to register for the residency programme put in place by the State Government.

Mrs. Adelusi, therefore, solicited for the assistance and cooperation of the two Community leaders for the planned sensitization programme by the Agency in Epe in March 2018.

In their response, the two traditional rulers commended the State Government for the creation of the Agency and promised to support and give adequate assistance to the Agency whenever the Public Enlightenment/Sensitization commences by mobilising their people to come out and register.
