AUDITIONS COMMENCE FOR ‘LAGOS GROWS TALENT’ CONTEST 

 

The audition for Season III of the Lagos Grows Talent commenced today across the five divisions of the State as a large number of talented youths in music, comedy, dance and other creative exploits registered to participate in the audition exercise holding at divisional information centres in Ikorodu, Badagry, Epe as well as City Hall and Eko FM Multipurpose Hall.

 

The annual talent hunt programme organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, rechristened Lagos Grows Talent, seeks to discover, celebrate and reward exceptional talents among the youths.

 

The competition is expected to produce 50 finalists across the Five Divisions to compete daily at the venues of the eight-day ‘One Lagos Fiesta’ starting from 24th to 31st December 2018.

 

The winner of the 2018 competition, to be determined after the final performance on the crossover night at the Eko Atlantic City, will go home with N1 million while the second and third runners-up will receive N500,000 and N250,000 respectively.

The 2017 edition witnessed the participation of 12,500 youths across the State and was won by 13year-old, Ishola Idris (Opizzy).
