EPE MODEL COLLEGE CELEBRATES OUTSTANDING STUDENTS, STAFF

Lagos State Model Senior College (LSMSC) Igbonla has celebrated year 2017/2018 students for their excellent performance in the recently conducted West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) tests, just as it commended the teaching, non-teaching staff and parents’ forum for their unflinching support which has brought about tremendous improvement in the overall performance of the students in the school.

 

Speaking at the Prize Giving Day ceremony which took place at the School Hall, the Tutor General/Permanent Secretary of the District III, Mrs. Titilayo Solarin, represented by Mr. Ojikutu Mustafa, the District Zonal Director expressed appreciation to the students on behalf of the State government for their brilliant performance.

 

The School Principal, Mr. Shittu Saliu-Idowu in his welcome address said the programme was borne out of the need to celebrate hard-working students so as to encourage those coming behind, adding that members of staff who were outstanding in the discharge of their duties have also made the school proud at the District level.

 

He also applauded the State government for providing adequate security for all schools in the area, especially Model and Upgraded Schools, in order to ensure the protection of lives and property.
