OTO-AWORI LCDA CHAIRMAN COMMISSIONS CLASSROOMS, TOWN HALL FOR RESIDENTS
The Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori LCDA, Prince Musibau Adekunle Ashafa has commissioned a block of six classrooms at LA Nursery and Primary School, Ilogbo-Elegba as well as two town halls and boreholes at various communities in the Council Area.
In his speech during the commissioning, the Chairman emphasised that it is the government’s responsibility to provide social amenities for the people in order to improve their standard of living.
Prince Ashafa reiterated the importance of providing a conducive environment for students to learn as education plays a distinct role in the lives of all individuals, adding that the provision of clean water has its far-reaching advantages as this helps in eradicating diseases associated with drinking contaminated water.
Also speaking at the event, the Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Education, Mr. Lanre Ogunyemi, emphasised the importance of education in any society as well as the early provision of social infrastructure which is pivotal to the rapid development of the communities.
Ogunyemi commended the Chairman for the purpose-driven projects embarked upon and urged others to emulate him.
The Town Halls were built in Ijanikin and Ayetoro, while boreholes were drilled at Ketu, Marin, Egbetedo, Cele, Gbewu and Morontola communities.
