LSPWC BEGINS MAINTENANCE, REHABILITATION WORKS ACROSS LAGOS

In response to the recent directive of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode the State Public Works Corporation and Drainage (LSPWC) has commenced maintenance and rehabilitation work across the metropolis.

The Special Adviser, LSPWC, Engr. Temidayo Erinle, who had earlier in the week announced the directive through a press statement, stated that the corporation had since embarked on maintenance and rehabilitation of major roads across the State, especially the roads that are in dire need of urgent repairs.

He listed some of the roads repaired to include portions of Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, Ikorodu Road, Adeniji-Adele Road, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Awolowo Way, Alimosho Road, Ashabi Cole Street, Ipaja Road, Oba Sekumade Road, Obalende Road, and Eti Osa amongst others.

Engr. Erinle disclosed that work is still ongoing on other roads across the State and appealed to residents, especially motorists to bear with the government while maintenance work is being carried out.
