ALIMOSHO RECEIVES DONATIONS FROM MEDSHARE, COCA-COLA
The Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, has received two forty-feet containers of biomedical equipment and consumables as donations from MEDSHARE and Coca-Cola African Foundation Company as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Medical Director of Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, Dr. Adebajo Madewa, who received the donated items applauded MEDSHARE and Coca-Cola for the donations, stressing that the items will go a long way in ensuring that the hospital improves on its service delivery to patients.
According to him, “A representative of these companies approached me in 2017, requesting for the list of items to support medical delivery for both mothers and children services within the Facility, but I persuaded him on the need to extend such support to other clinical areas of the Facility which was obliged”.
“I am grateful on behalf of the Management for the enhanced health care delivery being accessed, which further assists us in giving effective, qualitative medical delivery. Our engineers had been formally trained on biomedical science in recent months. But, with the new arrival, there will certainly be retraining extended to the team in order to foster the maintenance of the bequeathed medical appliances”.
The consumables were received from the United States of America through MEDSHARE, a non-profit humanitarian organisation dedicated to improving quality of life, in collaboration with Coca –Cola Foundation Company.
